Lake Ivie area south of Abilene.
Geosciences related field trips that we take. These go to:

Hill Country around Llano, Mason and Fredericksburg, Texas
Southwest Texas including the Davis Mountains and the Big Bend National Park

Also, there is an Environmental Chemistry field project. This is usually done at Kirby Lake or Lake Fort Phantom where students learn water sampling methods.
Finally, in a Biology class called Ecology, students often take a field trip to the Davis Mountains/Big Bend area in southwest Texas
