Summer Jobs and Internships

Students

There are several resources available to students who are interested in research programs.  For McMurry students, you can check the bullitin board in front of the physics office, follow the links below, or speak to Dr. Keith.

Opportunities

If you would like to offer our students an opportunity to participate in an Internship or an REU, please contact

Top physics students should seriously consider participating in a Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program.  They don't pay much, but they do usually pay at least room and board.  It is a great opportunity to connect with a group of people who are at the same level as you and who have have similar experiences in different contexts.  This will help you decide what you want to do as well as what you don't want to do.  The experience will also give you a taste of what research is like and show you some practical application of your classwork studies.
