Bracket For Inaugural ASC
Post Season Tournament Set
at University of Texas at Dallas

Schreiner College, in its first season of membership in the American Southwest Conference, has earned the top seed for the 1999 Post Season Softball Tournament to be played on the campus of the University of Texas at Dallas April 23-24. The Mountaineers edged out Mississippi College for the top seed.
Schreiner will play No. 4 seed Sul Ross State at 10 a.m. Friday, followed by No. 2 Mississippi College against No. 3 seed Mary Hardin-Baylor. Playing format will be double elimination tournament to crown the ASCs first ever softball champion. Game times Friday are 10 a.m., Noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday’s schedule will be 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. if necessary.
