Rubric Grading - Timely feedback is a critical component of any course. Learners need to know what they did well, and what they need to improve upon. Timely feedback is much more useful than delayed feedback. Moodle has now incorporated rubrics as a feedback and grading mechanism for assignments. This presentation will introduce you to rubrics--how to construct them and how to use them in Moodle 2.x.

Moodle Quizzes - See some of the new featues for Quiz in Moodle 2.x Questons can be flagged by the students for viewing during quiz. The Quiz activity module allows the teacher to design and build quizzes consisting of a large variety of question types, including multiple choice, true-false, and short answer questions. These questions are kept in the question bank and can be re-used in different quizzes.

Scheduler- Learn how to use scheduler to schedule time with students for advising. The Scheduler module helps you in scheduling appointments with your students. Learn how to specify time slots for meetings, students then choose one of them on Moodle. Learn how to record the outcome of the meeting - and optionally a grade - within the scheduler.
