Federal PLUS Loans By Web
This loan is for parents of dependent undergraduate students. The Federal PLUS Loan is a credit-worthy loan. The lender will determine credit-worthiness.

With Loans By Web, Texas Guarantee Student Loan Corporation's web based software you can complete the application process with more efficiency in less time. The Loans By Web site is a secure web site.
- Your Financial Aid Award Notification may list eligibility for the Parent Loan. Parents may request up to the cost of the dependent student's education minus other expected aid. The lender will deduct approximately 3% from your requested amount for origination fees.
- Before you start, have reference information. You will need to list two references, including the person's relationship to you, their address, and telephone number.
- Be aware that some browsers may affect how you view Lons By Web. Internet Explorer 5.0 may not work properly. Take advantage of the latest browser versions that Netscape and Microsoft offer. Visit www.netscape.com or www.microsoft.com to download the latest version.
- To complete the process, go to https://lbw.tgslc.org. Instructions are provided. Read all screen information as iIt will make applying much easier and fast. It is best to know as much as possible about the process.
- You will be asked to choose your lender preference. You may already have a lender, but if you do not, please select one of the EFT lenders from the Lender List link.
- McMurry participates in the electronic funds transfer (EFT) process. EFT allows loan funds to be automatically deposited to the student's account.
- If your lender issues a check, please allow six weeks for the loan funds to reach McMurry. Your co-payable PLUS check will be mailed to you from the Financial Aid Office with instructions for endorsement and credit to the student's account.
- If your disbursement does not arrive by the date designated for financial settlement, you will need to settle your account and be reimbursed when funds arrive. Open balances will be charged a 1.5% service charge per month.
- Repayment begins 30 to 60 days after the second disbursement of the loan, and a maximum repayment period of up to 10 years is available.

If you have been awarded a P.A.C.E. (Providing Affordable College Education) loan, go to https://lbw.tgslc.org to complete the loan process. It is highly recommended you complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be certain that your son or daughter qualifies for all available financial aid. However, financial need is not a component of the P.A.C.E. Program. All applications are subject to credit approval. You will be asked to choose a lender. You must use U.S. Bank, N.A. TTEE EdInvest Company. Lender Code 833838. Sign and mail the Master Promissory Note (MPN) to:

You must use First Financial Bank and Lender Code 810759. Sign and mail the Master Promissory Note (MPN) to the address provided on the application.
