Steps To Review Your
Financial Aid Offer
STEP 1 – AWARDS
Please read your “Financial Aid Award Notification” in its entirety. You will need to become familiar with the program names and amounts awarded before you continue. Do not accept or decline individual awards until you understand what it will cost you to enroll at McMurry University.
STEP 2 – COST & PAYMENT
Read the sections explaining the costs and payment process beginning on the Payment Of Accounts page. Estimate your expenses and review the aid offered, then determine how much you will need to contribute and which programs you wish to accept. If you find that you will need additional assistance, you may wish to consider alternative loan programs listed on the Alternative Loans page.
STEP 3 – ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
“The Financial Aid Statement of Satisfactory Academic Progress” begins on the Satisfactory Academic Progress page. All students are required to maintain certain academic standards and progress toward degree requirements to receive financial aid. Read the appropriate section based on the program you are pursuing, then read the section labeled “For All Students.”
STEP 4 – ENROLLMENT CHANGES
If you find it necessary to change the number of hours in which you enroll, please refer to the information on the Change in Hours / Withdrawals page.

An adjustment in your award package may be required according to your documented need and the guidelines of the programs. Refer to the Scholarship Opportunities and the page for more details.
