At the beginning of the summer of 1998, the C110 lab was added to the campus of McMurry University. McMurry added a Multimedia studies major and minor. With the inception of the new degree, the Cooke 110 lab required a face lift so that it could handle the tools and software needed to train our students. So in the Summer of 2001, the lab was upgraded with new Dell computers. These machines were better able to handle the demands of an intense multimedia program. A bonus came with this lab and upgrade. It gave the Computer Science Department a state of the art lab in which to teach its programming classes. |
