Hear the Professors!

What kind of people can be found in the School of Social Sciences and Religion? Professors with enough practical expertise from their studies to host their own radio show. The show, appropriately called “The Professors,” is a political talk show featuring Bill Libby of the Department of Religion and Philosophy (left) and Paul Fabrizio of the Department of Political Science (right). Fabrizio’s study of the American political system and Libby’s firsthand knowledge of the Middle East (where he has been involved in an ongoing archaeology project) make for a natural combination. They explain the latest political events either by themselves or with the assistance of special guests, in both cases inviting telephone comments and questions from their listeners. The program airs on Abilene radio station KWKC 1340AM from 4:00 to 5:00 PM Tuesday through Friday.
If you don’t have your radio handy, you can listen to the show on your computer; simply click here.
But you don’t have to wait till then to hear the professors and their guests. Their most memorable programs have been recorded and are available now for your listening instruction and pleasure. Each program is around 45 minutes long. Simply click on the name of the guest professor you want to hear and lean back in your easy chair.
