*2 A passing score on the CLEP gives you the opportunity to write a departmental essay. Credit will be given only if the writing sample meets department standards.
*3 8 hours of credit for elementary language weill be awarded for CLEP scores between 50 and 62. For CLEP scores 63 and above credit for one year of intermediate language will be awarded.
