GIFT PLANNING
In 2023 McMurry will celebrate its on hundredth year. In its first century McMurry built a legacy of providing a high-quality faith-based education to students who came here seeking the best educational, social, and professional opportunities in a close-knit Christian community. Now our president, Dr. John Russell, and other university leaders are carrying out plans to take McMurry into its second century with a renewed commitment to our historic values. Dr. Russell has recast the founding vision in this new vision statement:
“Cultivating leadership, excellence, and virtue in every student every day”
Maybe you feel like many people who support institutions with annual giving over many years and reach the point where they want to provide in advance for a gift that will support the beloved institution indefinitely into the future. Several vehicles are available to simultaneously accomplish the goals of
a) providing an ongoing gift to the institution and
b) providing tax-related or other benefits to the donor and their family members.
