HF 1210-53 Salsa Aerobics
uses Latin music and some basic Latin dance steps, such as cha-cha, to infuse energy into the aerobic dance setting.  Participants use the shakes and syncopation of salsa to keep their feet moving for 30-40:00 minutes, then finish with 15 minutes of muscle strengthening exercises that often use exercise balls, hand weights, body bars and exercise tubing.


HF 1210-51 Martial Arts Lab: 
  Focus is on self defense techniques including kicks, punches, takedowns and pins. We also teach ground escapes and how to control an opponent on the ground.


HF 1210-60 Weight Training:  This course is designed as an introduction to weight training.  Safe and effective techniques for weight training at all levels will be taught along with techniques for muscle and strength development.

HF 1210-52 Low-Impact Aerobics: A cardiorespiratory and muscular endurance workout.  Each class begins with a 20 minute section of low impact aerobics followed by 20-25 minute workout using light hand weights and body bars.  Focus is on muscular endurance with the weights and multiple repetitions.  Core and flexibility is included at the end of every class.

HF 1210-57 Racquet Sports FFL Activity class includes the four racquet sports of Tennis, Pickleball, Racquetball, and Badminton.  Students will learn the basic rules and will play each sport.  In-class tournaments will be held for Tennis and Pickleball.


HF 1210-64 Body Boot Camp:  Become a lean, mean, fat-burning machine!  By combining Dynamic Cardio and Challenging Muscle moves, we give those unwanted pounds the "BOOT"! 
 
HF1210-62 and 1210-63 Country/Swing: Students will learn the basic steps as well as advanced turns and spins for dances such as the east coast swing, two-step, triple two step,waltz, etc. Students will also learn popular club dances. This is a beginner level class designed for fun, social dancing.


HF 1210-55 Yoga/Pilates is a class which incorporates disciplines from both yoga and pilates to relieve stress, increase core muscular strength and deeply stretch muscle tissue.


HF 1210-54 Yoga:   Yoga blends the mental and physical aspects of exercise.  In this course students will learn basic yoga poses and will benefit from improvements in flexibility, posture and coordination.


HF1210-56 Circuit Training:  This is activity course is available for those students desiring to reach and maintain a satisfactory level of physical fitness.  Circuit training activities will include resistance exercises, core training, and cardiovascular exercise. 


HF 1210-58 Core Training:  Core strength training aims to target all the muscles groups that stabilize the spine and pelvis making use of body weight as resistance.


HF 1210-59 Jogging:
  For students desiring to reach and maintain a satisfactory level of basic physical fitness through jogging and running as a life-long activity.


HF 1210-61 Power Walking:  This course is designed to develop cardiovascular endurance through the activity of brisk walking.  Emphasis is on technique and practice to gain a satisfactory level of expertise.
