Tina Bertrand is the international specialist in the McMurry political science department. Her research interests range from environmental issues in world politics to the functions of the United Nations. She sponsors the Model United Nations program at McMurry, both organizing an oncampus meeting of high school delegations in the fall and then supervising a McMurry student delegation to the national Model UN convocation in New York in the spring. Voted Outstanding Faculty Member, 2009.

Paul Fabrizio brings a wealth of experience to McMurry. He was born and raised in Southern California and earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Southern California. Subsequently, he spent several years at St. John's Major Seminary in Camarillo, California, as well as working for an automotive market reserching company. He also served as an assistant manager with the U.S. Census Bureau in Baltimore, Maryland, for the 1990 census, before returning to academe to get his doctorate from Emory University in Atlanta. In addition to his administrative duties, Fabrizio also hosts an off campus radio talk show, “The Professors.”

Brenna Troncoso’s background is in social science and law. Her current research focuses on the intersection of law and politics in fragile democracies. Prior to joining the McMurry faculty, she worked for the Political Asylum Project of Austin where she provided legal services to immigrant victims of crime and human trafficking, as well as doing outreach and casework in Travis and surrounding counties. She has lived in Europe and Central and South America, and from 2005-2006 was a National Security Education Program (NSEP) Fellow in Argentina and Bolivia. She is now very happy to be back in Texas and plans on staying for a long, long time.
