The McMurry personal statement is optional unless specifically requested by the admission staff. Your personal statement will provide an additional opportunity for you to tell us more about yourself in relation to the Core Values at McMurry University.

Note: Your response to this question will be reviewed by faculty and staff as part of the admission decision.

Personal Statement:

McMurry University’s mission is to provide a Christian Liberal arts and professional education that prepares students for a fulfilling life of leadership and service. To achieve this mission, McMurry is guided by the following five Core Values:

Christian Faith as the foundation of life; Personal Relationships as the catalyst for life; Learning as the journey of life; Excellence as the goal of life; and Service as the measure of life.
