
OLD MAIN
The renovation of Old Main has become the improvement “centerpiece” of the Shaping the Future capital campaign. Almost every McMurry student has a story to tell about Old Main. This iconic building, referred to throughout McMurry history as the “pride of the western prairies”, will be renovated to restore its original elegance while incorporating the latest state of the art technologies in beautiful, functional classrooms, as well as a brand new elevator to serve all floors and connect to the Cooke Classroom building. Construction is scheduled to be complete in Fall 2013. The renovation will cost $8 million.

FURR WELCOME CENTER
As an addition to the campus landmark Radford Memorial Auditorium, the Welcome Center will provide a central location where alumni and other visitors to the campus can enter and be directed to departments they may wish to contact. Construction was completed in October 2009. FULLY FUNDED

ATHLETIC FACILITIES
PHASE I - An all-play surface and eight-lane track provides McMurry University athletes state of the art facilities to play and practice football and soccer, as well as participate in intramural competition. Construction of PHASE I of the project was completed in the Spring of 2006. FULLY FUNDED
PHASE II - Stadium renovations designed to improve the quality of experience for spectators and media. There will be new concessions, rest rooms and stadium entrances.

BYNUM BAND HALL
The Bynum Band Hall, built in the late 1950’s, is today a sound and solid structure. After a complete renovation was completed in 2009, the facility was updated with state of the art amenities and allowed growth in our band program. A total of $2.35 million was raised.

FINCH-GRAY SCIENCE BUILDING
The Finch-Gray Science Building has served McMurry well since its construction in the 1960’s. A complete first floor renovation of Biology and Physics laboratories in 2010 has provided increased space for engaging students in undergraduate learning and research. Completed renovation cost was $1.8 million. FULLY FUNDED

McDANIEL LIBRARY COMMONS
Completed in 2010, a complete renovation of 1st floor and Mezzanine has created an exciting and state of the art functional area for students at McMurry. Named for the generosity of Raymond and Gloria McDaniel, the renovated space accommodates the Academic Enrichment Center and M.O.V.E. Program. Completed at a cost of $750,000. FULLY FUNDED
