Assistant Professor of Spanish

In the School of Arts and Letters, we are committed to excellence in teaching Spanish and a second language.
POSITION: Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Spanish and a second language (pending board approval) with a 9-month appointment beginning August 2013.
Qualifications: Those with a Ph.D. or ABD in Spanish or related Spanish field, native or near-native proficiency in English, Spanish, and another language (or Masters Degree with the commitment to pursue a Ph.D. in short term) are welcome to apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will support the mission, vision, and core values of the University and will teach Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced Spanish courses and Beginning and Intermediate courses of a second language.
