Position Title: Adjunct Developmental Reading Instructor
Job Type: Adjunct, Part-Time
Non-faculty/ Non-tenure

Supervisor: Director of Academic Enrichment and Developmental Studies
Major/Essential Duties of the Job:
Teach three sections of DEVS 0300 Developmental Reading in the fall semester. Courses are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Curriculum and assessment is focused on the remediation of deficiencies in the areas of vocabulary and comprehension.
Occasional duties:
Other duties as assigned by the Director
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in reading or teaching field concentration in reading required. Graduate hours or Reading Specialist preferred. Must have previous teaching experience in the area of reading remediation.
