The Amy Graves Ryan Fine Arts Gallery is proud to present (in)visible demarcations by local artist Nil Santana. Nil lives in Abilene where he teaches Graphic Design and Art Photography at ACU. He is a native Brazilian, and is currently working on a PhD in philosophy, aesthetics and visual culture at IDSVA. The typography in this exhibition explores the relationships between word and image while exposing the boundaries we both accept and create with image and language.
This mixed media typography exhibit will be on display from January 26 – February 25.
A brown-bag gallery talk will be held Friday, February 18 at 12:00 p.m. in the Amy Graves Ryan Fine Arts Gallery lobby. For more information, contact Saybra Phillips: 325.793.4888.
