The Amy Graves Ryan Fine Arts Gallery is pleased to present A Natural State, an exhibition of acrylic paintings and functional stoneware by husband and wife Megan Easley and Kent Harris of Amarillo, Texas. Easley and Harris own Blue Sage Pottery and Art Gallery on 6th Avenue in Amarillo’s Route 66 historic district. They each exhibit frequently in local and national venues.

On Thursday, October 7, the McMurry Art Department will host Kent Harris as a visiting artist in the Chapin building located at 2165 Hunt st. from 9:00 -12:00 and 1:00 -4:00. Harris will demonstrate techniques in wheel throwing and talk about making a living as an artist. Community members, clay students, and enthusiasts are welcome to attend. A Natural State will close at 5:00 p.m. October 7.
