The following is a summarized version of the
McMurry Standardization packet. Please

The official McMurry University logo is the McM Block. The
McMurry University logo
should appear on all University publications intended for external
audiences. Please adhere to the following guidelines regarding the
McM Block:
| • The McM Block may be printed either in
maroon and white or black and white. The McM Block can not be
printed using any other colors. |
| • The McM Block can not be
inversed. |
| • The integrity of the “block look” must
be retained, even if the logo is put on a background that matches
the block color. |

The Horizontal Logo is an alternative to the McM Block logo.
This logo can be used in conjunction with the mission statement or
a department heading.

Official Maroon
McMurry University’s official school colors are maroon and
white. The maroon should be represented by Pantone 202, also known
as PMS 202 (PMS is an acronym for Pantone Matching System). Under
CMYK, or the four-color process percentages, the percentages are as
follows: Cyan at 31 percent, Magenta at 96 percent, Yellow at 72
percent, and Black at 32 percent. In RGB color format the numbers
are as follows: R at 137, G at 32, and B at 52. It is acceptable to
use other colors besides maroon and white as accent colors.
However, maroon and white should be the dominant colors
represented.

Athletic Logo
|

McMurry University is not using an athletic
symbol. Because of the recent events surrounding the NCAA and the
use of Native American imagery, we no longer use the Indian head
symbol shown at left. An institutional policy regarding the use of
an athletic logo will be forthcoming once the NCAA process is
complete. However, we do have a logo for the Indian Club/McMurry
Athletic Foundation. This logo is for Indian Club use only. It is
not the official athletic logo of McMurry University. |

Official Seal

McMurry University uses only one official copyrighted seal.
Please adhere to the following guidelines regarding the university
seal:
| • The seal is reserved as a formal
insignia for documents of institutional and legal
importance. |
• Documents that may include the seal
are:
° Diplomas,
° Certificates,
° Flags,
° Transcripts, and
° Any other official documents. |
| • Use of the seal is not permitted
without written authorization by the University Relations
Department and may not be modified in any way |
| • To obtain a copy of the seal, contact
the University Relations Department. |
