Outside Buckingham
Palace, after the changing of the guard
A group of 20 current McMurry students, accompanied by faculty
members Dr. Pat Lapoint, Dr. K. O. Long, and Rev. Bill Libby, spent
the week of January 4-11 in London, England. As a part of course
requirements, business students met with representatives of various
companies in London and the surrounding area, while religion and
history students toured museums and visited significant locations,
such as the Roman Wall and Wesley’s Chapel. The week’s activities
included a day trip to Paris. A group also visited Stonehenge and
Salisbury. The travel portion of the courses typically occurs
during the semester break.
