McMurry expects 150 High School Seniors for Student Preview Saturday, Feb. 17; Largest on Record

McMurry University expects to host 150 high school seniors at Student Preview on Saturday, Feb. 17, the largest Preview Program on record, said McMurry University officials today.

“Due to the large amount of interest, we had to close the registration for this Saturday’s program in order to better serve the students who are already planning to attend,” said McMurry Admission Director Scott Smiley. “In addition to the students, family and guests are estimated to be 170 to 180. This would give us a total attendance of 320 to 330 students, family and friends.” Check-in is from 9:30 to 10 a.m. with events throughout the morning and early afternoon. The Student Preview concludes at 2:30 p.m. In addition to the activities associated with Student Preview, complementary tickets to the McMurry men’s basketball game at 3 p.m. will be provided to each Student Preview participant.
