order of magnitude: Compares sizes relative to some unit of measure (see above aside and def of scales)
origin: The origin is the point from which everything is referenced. In a coordinate system, the origin is the location of "zero" - the (artifically) special place which separates the positive direction from the negative direction. (See also coordinate system, dimension)
