    The innovation of thumb drives has completely changed ways of digital storage. It is a small thumb size stick that directly plugs into the USB port in a computer. It has no cords and requires no batteries. It comes with various amounts of storage space and different models of the drives to better customize to every individual. There are thumb drives designed to put on a key chain, hold digital pictures, hold music with a display to show the songs, and even a secure drive that scans the user’s fingerprint in order to access it. 

      This new technology will provide users with more amounts of storage space in an easily transferable system. Also, certain thumb drives will give opportunity to storage of music, other media, and security if needed. I thought this article had strong reasons of why the thumb drives are so efficient. The information gave clear facts and descriptions of the drives and the various types of drives.

      Another option of storage is the three and a half inch floppy disk, which now seems to be outdated. The storage space is incomparable and now, many laptops come with out a disk drive and the USB port included. 

      I would definitely recommend a thumb drive for storage, especially for high school or college students. I use mine daily and has many transportations of assignments stress-free.
