Trip to the Hargesheimer Water Treatment Plant and Lake Ivie, a man-made lake that is part of the Colorado River System
2
Introduction
  • On this trip we will learn more about Lake Ivie, the quality of its water, where it is treated,  and what the lake is like. A key thing to remember about Lake Ivie water is this. It is brackish water which requires advanced treatment methods to make it fit to drink. (Hutchins and Schaefer, 2003).
