Course Description

BA 3370 Business Statistics. Descriptive statistical measures, probability distributions, sampling, inference, chi-square and nonparametric methods, regression and correlation.

Course Objective

1. To become familiar with the basic principles and steps involved in planning and conducting statistical studies.
2. To apply statistical studies tools to interpret and convert data into useful information necessary to make sound business decisions.
3. To obtain a working knowledge of the following areas of statistics: descriptive statistics, probability and probability distributions, sampling distributions, statistical inference, regression and correlation analysis.
